This year Leaders Breakfast will once again be held at the newly renovated LA Hotel Downtown. The renovations to the 469 guest rooms, lobby and lobby bar, restaurant, 9 meeting rooms and 2 ballrooms began in 2012. The architect for the public spaces was Nord in Newport Beach, and the anticipated completion of the lobby, lobby bar and restaurant is within the next 60 days. HBA in Santa Monica designed all of the interior spaces throughout the scope of the entire renovation project. Parkwest in Anaheim is the project General Contractor.
The LA Hotel Downtown was originally built for the 1984 Summer Olympics, and the property includes a separate facility with an office building and movie theatres. This extra area has been demolished, and the build out is underway for a new private school designed to teach courses such as conversational English and etiquette to International children starting this fall. It will be a study abroad type of program, reflecting the owner’s commitment to the development and vitality of the downtown area and to the educational process.
We hope to see you all at Leaders Breakfast on September 19th!
