Haunt Couture is an annual event that fuses fashion, design and architecture presented by IIDA Southern California.
It is a spectacular evening of cocktails, networking, and a runway show with leading Los Angeles interior design & architecture firms and students competing in a stunning couture runway show.
The designed garments are larger than life costumes created from design materials typically specified in contract interiors expressing the theme of the event.
At the Reveal and Garment Creation Day, the competing design teams will learn about the theme of the Main Event and be given a specific category within this theme for them to create their individual costume.
The Reveal and Garment Creation Day is a one-day kick-off, filled with networking and garment construction. The day begins with a breakfast mixer where all participating designers and team sponsors get to socialize. After breakfast the formal Reveal takes place and teams are assigned a theme. The remainder of the day is dedicated to construction, where designers will have several hours to construct and complete their garments.
