October is Architecture Month. In 2007, Michael A Enomoto, FAIA, and the AIA|LA went before the Los Angeles City Council to seek and gain a month recognizing the contributions by architects to culture and Los Angeles municipal life.
This panel, will explore proposed state policies and market-driven solutions to boost housing production at all income levels, including:
• Streamlining housing approvals & construction
• Providing new incentives to build affordable housing near high quality transit
• Creating new revenues sources for affordable housing
• Activating development on underutilized private or public land.
