The Orange County Fashion Show Committee is excited to announce the 2016 Fashion Show: Villains; Everybody loves a hero, but no one forgets a villain. Each team will select a Villain at the “Unveiling of the Villain” party on Thursday, June 23rd .
This year not only is IIDA going back to the original format of receiving the fabric shortly before the actual fashion show, but the are also going back to where it all started. The night is sure to be a memorable one as Orange County’s leading A + D Firms compete.
About the IIDA Haute Couture Fashion Show
The IIDA Orange County City Center hosts the 2016 Trunk Show, which precedes its premier event, the Haute Couture Fashion Show. The Trunk Show brings together participating design teams from throughout Orange County and the Inland Empire to enjoy food and drinks,select their theme,and participate in the infamous “fabric grab”. Fabric is donated by Industry Furniture and Flooring Fabric manufactures. The fabric is the basis of the fashion that design teams create their outfits for the Fashion Show. Once the teams select their fabric they collaborate with their teams and sponsors to create wearable works of art.
The Haute Couture Fashion Show serves not only to bring the industry together for a night of creativity and fun competition, but also provides an opportunity for fundraising. The IIDA OC City Center donates a portion of the proceeds from the Haute Couture Fashion Show to local charities.
