Lori Tierney | Principal
Lori Tierney, has extensive experience in major aspects of the commercial real estate industry. As a Principal, Tierney led marketing and the re-branding of an eighty million dollar California based contract furniture distributor for Haworth for eight years. Tierney combines her creative background to craft uniquely tailored marketing programs, has a proven and consistent sales track record, extensive construction project management experience and an interior design background. For over 25 years, Tierney has specialized in strategic marketing, and networking and has led numerous projects in business, including technology, entertainment, non-profits, education and government. Tierney has consulted for Delos in Southern California for over one year and has been active in the educational launch of the WELL Building Standard since its introduction at Green-build November 2014. Tierney was previously the Southern California Business Development Director and Regional A and D Director for Haworth, Inc. Tierney has held other leadership positions with Herman Miller and Steelcase dealerships. Tierney co-founded and was Executive Vice President of Bozarth CM, an international commercial construction management company with offices in Los Angeles, Phoenix and Washington D.C. that represented CBRE National Account projects.
Tierney graduated from the Interior Designers Guild, Los Angeles, CA, after attending California State University, Northridge, majoring in commercial Interior Design. Tierney is on the board of the Los Angeles Business Council, is the President of the Downtown Breakfast Club and Urban Land Institute Building Well Cities Committee. Tierney is the Founding Chair of the LA Business Council Sustainability Summit and serves as co-chair of the Energy and Environment Committee, the Architectural Awards Committee and served on the steering committee that passed Green building legislation in the City of Los Angeles.
